KR Market is a busy, vibrant and crowded market in the heart of the city. Go early in the morning to watch fresh vegetables and flowers arrive for the day. A photographer’s delight, this market whips up a frenzy especially before important religious festivals.

The busy, bustling KR market (City Market) is a great local market to visit. We travelled there by tuk tuk. The outdoor area is a fantastic display of all sorts of vegetables and fruits. Downstairs in the main building is the fabulous flower market. There are all sorts of beautiful flowers and in the middle of it all was a... More

2017.1.6. 5am The market was not impressive. Not much variety nor flowery aroma in the air. I would not recommend to anyone. A hotel guide says I should have gone at 2-3am. I won't know.

From Flowers to Dosa pans you will get all stuff at cheap prices. Its a whole sale market. Flowers you wont get 1/2 KG, min 1 KG they sell at 10 to 20 bugs (depends on the type of flower). There are other shops where you get all the stuff required for puja. Rest all are iron cast utensil shops... More

The market is great to walk around and see. The must see is the flower market in the basement which is amazing. Tons of colors and really cool to walk around. All the merchants are very nice and welcoming and there is no pressure to buy and pay for anything. We went at noon but we're told it is even... More

The KR Market is large and covers many blocks. As a tourist, you may want to skip the neighborhood filled with plumbing and metal parts. Instead, head for the market building and start downstairs in the flowers. I visited Ghanaian Market a few years ago, thinking it was this place. Make sure you go to KR/Central Market

KR Market is the erstwhile wholesale market area for vegetables, fruits and flowers. Vendors sit everywhere in the market area selling any of these items. You can find fresh vegetables, fruits and flowers here. The flower market is an attraction for the fresh flowers colorfully placed for sale. As it is the central market for whole of Bangalore vendors come... More

I have been to KR market on a few occasions. It is a massive flower, vegetable and household product bazaar. The shops and stalls outside of the main building are similar to other markets around India. However, inside is quite different as it is a permanent structure and largely dominated by flowers on the main floor. It is crammed with... More

All your needs can be fulfilled. Be it branded items or the copies of those items everything is available here. Only hard thing is you have to walk in the crowd to explore this place. Don't even think of taking your vehicle inside it. You ll be trapped and won't be able to take the vehicle out of it
