The beautiful Ulsoor Lake, located in the city center, went through a phase of being thoroughly neglected before it was spruced up again. Boating is a possibility here. A visit to this lake can be combined with a visit to the nearby Gurudwara (Sikh house of worship), Bangalore’s largest.

It's a place where you can go in morning or evening to enjoy the view. There is a pavement around the lake. In very near to army area. If you plan to visit there, better combine it with visiting a nice nearby gurudwara as shown in picture.

This late in the midst of the city is a paradise for the people who have little time in city and wish to be outdoors - near a large water body ! The timing are easy to visit during sunrise and sunset . There is no entry fee . The recently added children's park is popular with family with young... More

This lake is just next to Gurudwara and i got to know that they have number of sports available but when we reached there just to find that govt has closed it for now as it was not properly maintained.

The lake is located very close to MG Road and approach to the lake will normally be involving a lot of traffic jams. The lake is being used by the army to conduct their water drills. Bangalore offers a lot of activities for tourists however if you are on a tight schedule it is not worth visiting this lake.

Located in close proximity to M.G.Road and Brigade Road, this is an artificial lake in the centre of Bangalore city. The lake is quite big, there are small islands within the lake with dense trees. There is a beautiful park located just besides the lake. Nice place to chill out in the evening or morning and enjoy morning/evening walk amidst... More

We recently went for a run around the Ulsoor Lake, and it was so refreshing to see it at a better state in comparison to the last few years. These lakes keep the beauty of Bangalore going, and definitely should be visited. They have to be better maintained.

About 16 years back when I came to Bangalore Ulsoor Lake was a place to visit. But now, there is almost zero maintenance and very few people go to see the lake. People use this as a jogging area. The Authorities have allowed residents to dump litter on the small pools inside and also Idols during Pujas are immersed there.... More

Nice lake and park. Boating experience is good too. But it should be cleaner and properly taken care of. The location is easy to reach too.

Once it used to be the most attractive tourist destination till early 2000. Now its completely neglected and looks like nobody is bothered about the deteriorating condition of this lake come garden.
