Nice street but very touristy as many have already written here. But the the old colonial style is nice so well worth a visit while here. Nice to walk around. Have a coffee or tea at some of the cafés.

Besides having some excellent homestays, this street also has some quaint shops like Peter's and two very useful functional shops (for mineral water etc). There is an art gallery of sorts bang in the middle, run by an eccentric hobo who is worth meeting.

Good shopping on this street for shawls, gifts (elephants!), and some jewelry. Shop owners vary in their pushiness, but for the most part a pleasant experience.

Of all the wonderful shopping experiences India has to offer--this isn't one of them. There's a Fabindia and Anocki in Fort Kochi which are far better choices and much better quality of merchanise.

If in Kochi, unmasked , without pretense and free spirited , then I am sure you will head to this quaint street for every meal . Dotted with eateries and shopping options, this is a must visit street for food, shopping and soaking in the quaint essence of fort kochi

The centuries old princess street or Loafer's Corner at Fort Kochi is famous for the European style old buildings on both sides. Most of them are converted into shops selling handicrafts, souvenirs, old coins, cloth etc or homestays and restaurants. Evenings we can see people walking through the road enjoying the beauty of the ancient buildings or trying to purchase... More

Me and my husband spent a week in the Secret Garden hotel in Kochi and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is in a very quiet and picturesque area of narrow winding roads but only 5 minutes walk from the city center. The facilities are very good and the rooms are beautifully decorated in an authentic way. The breakfast is... More

This side street has great boutique shops, book stores restaurants and even Gelato. Friendly shopkeepers/artisans, not pushy hawkers.
