Been to the temple several times. Enjoyed the temple visit with the children. The little boys enjoyed breaking the coconuts. This temple is not very far for the people of Kottayam or for that matter even for those coming from Kochi. The God Ganesh here is very powerful.

A great place to visit for Ganapathi devotees. A great place to visit and worship with your family. The temple is located close to the Kottayam town.

It is a very interesting temple in many aspects. The main structure which houses the sanctum sanctorum does have any other idols but just the Ganapati/Ganesh in the sanctum. Outside, you have several usuals like Bhagavati, Nagaraj & Nagas and Lord Ayyappa. But beyond the rear entrance, there is an annexe temple complex having Vishnu, Shiva and Durga. Still more... More

An ancient and unique temple very near to Vaikim and Ettumanoor , The Moola murthi holds a Sri Krishna Salagrama in his hand. An auspicious offering here is offering mukkutty flowers to Sri Ganapathy . The sanctum emanates peace , a must visit for anyone visiting Vaikom or Ethumanoor .

It surprises me of the quality of temples and simplicity of people running these in this remote part of India. People are so polite and extremely friendly, I fell in love with this part of Kerala! (Trivandrum, on the other hand was not as nice an experience as this part of Kerala though). This temple specializes in Ganapati, an elephant... More
