Himayat Bagh is a verdant and extremely beautiful garden spread over an area of 400 acres. The garden has unique flora. So it is home to the Fruit Research Station and Nursery. Different varieties of plants, trees and herbs blooming around the garden attracts the visitors. One can also buy plants and saplings from the gardens. It is a nice place to take photographs.

This garden is not well maintained. May be a good park earlier but now it is dirty. Worth avoiding this place.

We thought that there would be flowers and fruits garden based on Wiki. It's a disappointing place with no maintenance, just some walking path with stagnant water. There were some folks on their morning walks. On checking with them on what to see, folks smiled and said nothing to see, no flowers, no fruits just vegetation all around. we did see peacocks, couple of parrots etc. but nothing much.
avoid going to this place.

Its greenary all there. Majority of public visit here for morning strolls. There is a pool its call Meethi Bawdi.Located just 6 kms away from railway station, this 17th century Mughal era garden , now a part of Fruit Research Station of Marathwada University is a must visiting place for botany lovers. The greenry and cool atmosphere had a soothing effect . Like other nurseries, you can buy plants and saplings from the gardners. There is a baoli as well which is said to be used by royal females during Mughal era. we went to the spot and ended up seeing only bushes.

When we asked locals about himayat baug, there replied to us saying there is nothing but bushes out there.
Yet we went to the spot and ended up seeing only bushes.
Waste of time. Can be skipped.

This place is well known among locals for its flora and fauna.
Majority of public visit here for morning strolls.
Himayat baag has a small water body known as "Meethi Bawdi" which is said to be used as bathing pool / swimming pool by princess who was daughter to Mughal King Aurangzeb.
