The building is old and not in good conditions, but it is possible to see the original sctructure; it is crowdy but it is nice to see salesmen/women offering their vegetables seating on high position to measure the weight and deal. A lot of various vegetables.

Even though the market is big, it was crowded and messy. the shopkeepers were a bit rude and did not attend to us properly.

This is a huge market with fruits, vegetables, flowers all available. At any festival the place is filled with colorful ornaments and decor that one needs to go and buy. Treat for the ladies.

Interesting outdoor markets as well, particularly the row of stalls with items for puja. If you're claustrophobic or you easily suffer panic attacks don't go there. Too many people, cars, motorbikes, children and mendicants (a few). VERY difficult to park. I went there in the auto-rickshaw (Tuk-Tuks)... More

Beautiful old buiding specially for selling vegetable by vegetable merchant. Here lies famous Lord Ganesh statue which is also known as Mandai Ganpati. This place is also known as Mandai. I have been here many times. Always very crowded and you get ot of options for less expensive house hold things nearby this place.
