When we are putting our shoes on at that time a person came almost in running condition and claimed he is the priest, requesting us to go again in the temple so that he can earn some... More

A number of the carved images (including lion head motif) appear for the first time in the temple architecture here. “Mukteshwar” means “Lord who... More

This temple is very small and... More

The stylistic development the Mukteswar marks the culmination of all earlier developments, and initiates a period of experiment which continues for an entire century.

The pair of temples, Mukteshwar and Siddeshwar are not as well known as Lingeshwar. But this pair of temples, co-located are very well kept, clean, and offer a glimpse of the architecture of 11th century. The idol in sanctum is beatiful and peaceful. This is a better place to pray (should one wish).

Its so beautiful that you just feel like standing in front of the arch and gaze at the minute details that have been carved on the stones.
