Well, in narrow small roads crossing , middle of the city , reached this building . this is a point of attraction , but inside the building now not allowed. Very fine artistic carving work all of the front face of the house which is really marvellous .
It is just a experience like other artistic & traditionally hand work of this area .

Ticket - Not applicable

Must have - proper shoes , hat , umbrella, water bottle.

Must know- Avoid the large / big size vehicle, because the roads are busy and narrow & and very small area for parking.

Take a rikshaw / bike for visit here is the better & easy option.

If you have less/short time for visit Jaisalmer then just leave/ avoid this spot

This haveli is a private property and is closed to the general public. You can only have a look at it from the outside and admire the architecture.

This 19th century haveli was built by two Muslim jeweler brothers who designed their respective sections in perfect harmony. The interior is decorated with miniature paintings and this Haveli was once the Prime Minister's residence. Two yellow sandstone elephants guard the entrance of this landmark Haveli .Nathmal Haveli is a inhabited building like any common residence having a beautiful carved exterior façade. Tourists are allowed only onto the ground floor courtyard of this magnificent Haveli that has tourist shop's selling handicrafts .All the haveli's in the vicinity look similar and common due to the sandstone construction. The wealth and status of the occupants or owners is gauged through the intrinsic artistic carvings and artwork of the building as seen in NATHMAL HAVELI.

This place looks great from outside, but thats about it, just 5 minutes walk from patwon ki haveli, you may just go there and pose in front and take some pics, and see the difference in left and right side of the monument, but thats about it,its a private residence with souvenir shop in basement, and nothing much else to see, very avoidable if you are on just 2 day trip and unguided, if you did miss it, there is nt much that you mightve missed...

This haveli is not open to the public. you can enjoy the amazing facade outside with two entry guarding elephants on opposite sides. As it is on the way to Patwa Haveli, you can pass by to admire the work.

This Haveli was built in 1885 , and is now a private property used by the predecessors of the minister that built it . It was built for 2 Sons of his , with identical two sides of the facade, left and right . By carefully looking you can find slight differences . Not open for the public .

Beautiful haveli - just admire the architecture from the street. Was taken there by our guide - visit is free and done by a family member in less than 5 minutes (you can only see one room upstairs). They then expect you to buy one of their overpriced souvenir for contribution for maintenance. It’s basically a tourist shop.

You can give this one a miss if you visited one of the others as you will just waste your energy walking up the steep stairs to see nothing of interest. They have stalls in it.
