just "maharajish" unforgettable

When we were there we enjoyed walking around... Just so different...it is the palast of maharaja and the king's wife maharajani!

When we were there we enjoyed walking around... Just so different...it is the palast of maharaja and the king's wife maharajani!

Its a place with costly entrance fee and almost nothing as compared to some other palace museums in Rajasthan

this palace is not even close in comparison to palaces of jaipur, udaipur and mysore. if you have seen those you can skip this palace. its a very small place with hardly anything to display except a few weapons, furniture and clothes. also entry fees is rs 100 which is too much for this place. they even charged 100 rs... More

By the time we made it to Jaisalmer, we were sick of tour guides. At the palace museum, we got the audio guides instead and were very happy about the decision. Area in the fort that must have been very sumptuous in its day. Let your imagination wander and think about how it was to live in the most luxurious way possible at the time,

The palace held lots of domestic items from the time of the maharajah, which really gave an insight to how they lived.

Maharajah palace is a part of the Jaisalmer fort and its beauty sticks you to visit again. The luxury lifestyle of the kings were clearly showcased in the palace architecture. It was very pleasing to visit this 850 year old Palace and witness the fruits of the painstaking restoration taken place over the last few years to enable a grand peace of India culture and history to share its story! Maharajas palace, the delightful kings chamber. Located within Jaisalmer Fort (Golden Fort), Place i really old yet beautiful old architecture of Jaisalmer.

Go to Jaisalmer fort and book an audio guide. Guide will take you to King's chamber and it's delightful to watch. The facts about the chamber are mind boggling. It's a must visit place if you are in Jaisalmer.
