We stumbled upon Spice Paradise during our few days in Jodphur and liked the place and the people so much that we booked a lesson for the following day. Rehka and Anil are the most charming, genuine and lovely people that we met during our recent fortnight in Rajasthan. As a family of 5 we spent a wonderful afternoon learning... More

We just decided to roam around the clock tower today. As a South Indian we were not looking to buy spices in jodhpur. But what a brilliant place we stumbled upon. Both Mr and Mrs Sharma are experts in culinary arts and have mastered spice making over decades of practice. I am now their permanent customer. Love their family where... More

A friend and I took a cooking class with Raika at Spice Paradise in jodhpur during our winter trip to India. It was absolutely wonderful and a highlight of our entire trip to India. Neither of us are professional chefs, just interested in cooking and enjoy Indian food. This was a great way to learn and a super fun way... More

I spent my birthday in Rekha and her families beautiful home, cooking and eating some of the most delicious food I had while in India. Rekha couldn't be more inviting, knowledgable and caring, taking the time to chat with everyone and get to know them. She is so incredibly lovely. The class is in depth and leaving with a cookbook... Our cooking class with Rekha was a highlight of my 3 weeks in India. Rekha, was fun, professional, knowledgable and well organised. We enjoyed an evening of cooking lessons with prepared notes, simple instructions and hands-on cooking. We met Rekha's lovely family and after the lesson Rekha took us to the local temple for Diwali preparations. I bought a heap... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. You cook in Rikkha's family kitchen. We met her children, husband and mother in law. This all aided to the very authentic experience that we had. Rikkha teaches you about the foods health benefits as well as practical recipes that you can cook when you are home. If there is anything in particular you... More

We so enjoyed our cooking experience at Spice Paradise - especially our children aged 9, 11 and 13 years! Rikha showed us into her home and her beautiful, well organised kitchen, stocked with all sorts of spices. She was very warm and friendly and told us a little about her own family and their business. Then we all received copies... More

I learned how to make chai and bought to many wonderful spices to take back to South Africa! I will be back soon for a cooking lesson. If you're... More
