It takes 600 rupees from foreigners which seemed a bit high to me comparing to the other forts we watched in Rajasthan. However the fort itself is enormous and beautiful. The full tour would take 2-2.5 hours. I would recommend to take a guide.
Per me the most beautiful fort in Rajasthan. Extremely clean, with stunning vistas of the city. The guides are professional & the palace itself is maintained really well.

Mehrangarh Fort is one of the best kept forts in the country. Great views of the "blue city" of Jodhpur from the top. It now has a lift to go up, of you are not keen to climb up.
At 600 rupees per person this was quite pricey if you just wanted to visit the fort but this included the museum, audio guide etc so worth it. There were good signs throughout in English as well as Hindi and the exhibitions were excellent. The...More
