The impressive red sandstone fort was built in 1459. We could feel the grandeur of the past at the top of the fort, overlooking the beautiful Blue City of Jodhpur. It was an awesome experience. One of the best fort in India. One needs minimum 2-3 hours to see this beautiful fort. The fort has museums , fine dine restraunts , heritage shops .. etc. The view from the fort is awesome .

This fortress is huge but our guide followed the very good policy of explaining a suite of rooms and then letting us wander. You can find all the colors of Rajasthan over here, its professionally made still very very beautiful ,,, A must visit when you go to Jodhpur and you need ample time to enjoy the view of the fort with the experience of Zipline :)

Lovely Fort, beautifully managed.Super clean Fort. First ever fort where the security was regularly asking all the tobacco chewing public to only enter after they had spat all the contents in the bin.They deserve an applause.
