Srinathji temple is a religious place of Hindus. It is more then 100 Kms from Udaipur city.Good road leads to this place.Hire a Taxi. You have to plan as it opens only at limited timings. There is a dress code. No nickers, no vest only.

It's a very pious temple to pray to Lord Krishna's avatar. The place can be very very heavily crowded at times so it's best to not go when the 'darshan' is just about to start. One can go when it's about to end.

We visited the first time Sri Nath Ji Temple on 26-02-2017. It is a holly place. Most of the divoties are from Gujrat.

We visited this temple which is located at Nathdwara, almost 50 km from Udaipur. The temple is very old & built by jain community. The statue of Lord Krishna is very beautiful. One has to be completely aware about temple timings in order to have a peaceful darshan as its tremendously crowded with devotees coming from far off places

Go there to take take blessing of Lord Krishna, however beware of the local people who'll keep on chasing you to facilitate; special darshan, couple darshan, etc for INR 100-500. Don't pay any heed to them. It's like any other temple in India, there is crowd and mismanagement, but in the end there is Satisfaction. :)

This temple of Nathdwara is dedicated to Lord Krishna, with his image carved out of a single block of black marble. The exterior of the temple contains a solid-white facade. On all the doorways, paintings of elephants, horses, doorkeepers are present.

How do you rate a temple? Do you rate it for its discipline, or for its culture, or customs or structure, or its history or for the food (bhog / Prasad). Well temple is a a place of worship and faith. Faith always scores full marks when you are a believer. Well this review is not about rating the temple... More

The famous temple of Srinathji is in Nathdwara. There is a regular bus service from Udaipur bus Stand to Nathdwara in the morning (every 30 minutes). Bus takes 1 and a half hour to reach Nathdwara. From Nathdwara, temple is 1 kilometer away. It is especially visited by Gujarati community. After darshan, you can have Gujarati food stuff in the... More
