Courtallam has a list of falls - Main falls, five falls, old courtallam falls, sitraruvi, tiger falls etc. Of all these, main falls and five falls are the most popular among visitors and gets crowded during season (usually around July-September). The major falls like main falls, old courtallam, five falls, tiger fall, sitraruvi are amazing The paalaruvi falls 30kms away from courtallam is simply supereb,, dont miss it, it is in Kerala state the timing is 8 AM to 5PM..

Courtallam which is situated near the bordering area to Kerala via Chengottai is one of the best tourist attraction in the Southern most part of Tamil Nadu. This is fantastic experience on the TN- Kerala border. the water was amazing. great place where you have segregated place for men and women. this was good. this courtallam waterfalls is much famous for it's water having herbal and medicinal properties. the season is unpredictable. and during the season times, there will be a huge crowd, and the bathing could be a lot difficult one. the eatable items like hot vadas would be so nice to take after the bath.
