A visit in the evening is better... Climb thr hill on foot, see peacocks roaming around the temple, view of Coimbatore city in the evening with lights is a beautiful sight... Lord Murugan's darshan... If you are lucky, the Golden Chariot might be seen...

Marudamalai temple is one of the temples that one must visit during a trip to Coimbatore. It is easily accessible via public transport or private vehicles. The temple is situated on a small hill and the view is excellent from there. One can also visit the Siddha cave situated a little below the main temple.

Get blessed while enjoying the blissfulness! Don't miss the sugarcane juice / tender coconut downhill.

Its available in a little hill. Good sceneries. Visit the place in off season only then you can avoid the crowd in little space. Only four wheelers are allowed from city to the hills(parking constrains). If you go by tempo kind of vehicle, you have to use the mini bus service provided by TN government.

I visited this temple with family members. Neat maintenance. There are no agents for luring the devotees. Strict que is maintained for darshan. Good atmosphere. Situated in the Maruthamalai hill foot which has a pleasant atmosphere with fresh air and cool climate.
