The Jahangar Mahal is one of the first buildings you see after you have entered the Red Fort. It's magnificent and seems to gleam when the sun is out. Inside the red sandstone is intricately carved. Not to be missed is Jahangir's bath tub on the path outside the front entrance. I'd love to know just how he got into it.

This palace inside Agra Fort is probably the most significant building inside the fort complex, and housed the women of the royal household. There’s no much evidence of that, though I thought the most significant structures are the multistoried red sandstone walls and the huge bowl used as a bath.

Jahangir Mahal is a palace in Agra Fort, largest one of the palaces built inside Fort.May be the most noteworthy building inside the Agra Fort of India. The Mahal was the principal zenana palace for women belonging to the royal household, and was used mainly by the Rajput wives of Akbar.

Another of the ‘must see’ stops in Agra and understandably so. Well worth building into your itinerary.

The Agra Fort plays a big role in the history of the region. Together with the Taj they make for a great experience and understanding of the power struggles that went on in this part of the world. Find yourself a good tour company, guide and get educated on the history of this place and the unique ties between the two sites. Amazing and intriguing. Highly Recommended.

Jahangir Mahal is inside the Agra Fort. It is the place of Jahangir. Just at the entrance if this Mahal a big bath tub is there which is made of a single rock of granite. This was used by King for bath..

Beautiful beautiful build and stunning architecture. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The Hauz-i-Jahangiri seen in the courtyard was used a bath. It is very impressive for its sheer size and that it has been carved from a single block of granite. Apparently made to be portable but would take a monumental effort to move it.
