The Taj is such a beautiful tribute of love. We visited in early November and were not disappointed, providing you know what to expect. This is a mausoleum as a memorial to the Mughal's favorite wife. The entrance is the impressive Royal Gate and from there you get your first view of the Taj. It is an amazing structure. It... More

Went at sunset and then sunrise the next day. Very happy we went twice as need to take it in a second time. Truly incredible sight and not to be missed if you visit India. One night in Agra is enough as not much else to see.

No disrespect to this who are, but you'd have to be blind to not appreciate the absolute magnificence of this Wonder of the World. Sure, it was built as a burial site but that's part of the mystery of this incredible place. Absolutely plan to go there if you are anywhere in the country of India. It's truly magnificent!

Magnificent site - and commendably well-maintained/ preserved. Clean, free of rubbish and clutter, good sight-lines for photography, thoughtfully paved walkways for the crowds.

You have to park up and take tourist large golf buggy up( small fee) there are bag searches /scans everywhere in India and this is the same (only smallish bags allowed too). This understandably is very busy but so stunning and the views and workmanship over millions of man... More

Not sure what to say about here that hasn't already been said! This building is pretty stunning and I can't imagine anyone not being impressed by the symmetrically architecture. We visited around 4.30pm and it wasn't too busy and nice light for talking photos.

I had visited Taj twice before, but my family was visiting for the 1st time. I was equally excited and truly the experience was amazing. The battery vans from eastern gate take you there and though it was crowded on Saturday, the early morning view was amazing. Wheelchair facility is also available for senior citizens in the group. The wheelchair... More

A must see if you are anywhere near Delhi. Should be a better drive once the new highway is finished.
