The architecture, the Carvings, the surroundings and the design is simply awe inspiring. A Trademark monument of India and definitely Once in a Life time experience. Totally made up of marble and a site to behold. Jaw dropping if seen from a distance. Though nowadays due to nearby Yamuna river there is some garbage and dirt but nothing gets to... More

What a stunning monument, the white marble is a signature of love. Proud to be an Indian with Taj Mahal around us.

We visited Taj as part of our private Golden Triangle Tour. Honestly, I cannot described how amazing is the place. Please make sure you have a nice tour guide with you to tell you all the story. We will highly recommend it.

Everything you may have heard is true ,but exponentially. A truly amazing piece of architecture, made all the more special given the history and the fact it was all done by hand. The drive from Delhi is an adventure, as any drive is in India, but it is very much worth every second. Highly recommended experiance.

I can only echo other reviews. The Taj Mahal was the highlight of our trip. We are not early birds, so we saw the Taj Mahal in the light of the setting sun and were duly impressed by the intricate carvings and the architecture. It is without doubt, one of the wonders of the world.

We visited the Taj Mahal and it was stunning. We went on a weekday in March at 1530 to avoid the intense midday heat and stayed until sunset. We booked a driver and guide which was well worth the $50AUD as you get the commentary as well as the assistance navigating the various points which might overwhelm some. We paid... More

As part of the Golden Traingle tour, we made an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal. Very busy - even at 0630 and after 2 short drives into the venue via security check and a 10 minute walk the The Taj Mahal is suddenly visible as you approach through a small passage way. Totally spectacular sight, huge and stunning... More

We have visited southern India a few times over the last 4 years but have always felt it was such a long way to go just to visit the Taj Mahal (3.5hr internal flight from Kerala) and had been put off by everyone saying how dreadful Agra was. 'Get in and get out' was a phrase we had heard many... More

Definitely worth getting up at 6am for! If you can request Seema Singhal! She was amazing! Her English is excellent as is her knowledge of Agra and its history.
