Famous after Deb Dipawali festival, not crowded like its neighboring ghats... i was staying near by and early morning 530 i was here to witness beautiful sunrise. it was very calm soothing moment. Roof top restaurants- one can enjoy view from here.
The perfect way to see all the ghats in Varanasi is - boat Tour. Agents will come to you when you will be nearby ghats and negotiate with you, make sure that before riding. but again, to see 130 ghats and their beauty, you must have this in Varanasi.

The Meer Ghat is one of the many ghats in Varanasi on the River Ganges. Compared to the others, this ghat is relatively quiet and the surrounding area is a cleaner. There's a flight of about 50 steps from the top down to the embankment. Which gives you a good view of the river and Ganga kinare Ghat on the beach, on the opposite bank. There wasn't much to see when I was there, but I did notice that many boats ply their trade from the pier here.
The ghat is located between the famous Dashashwamedh and Manikarnika ghats, so you'll likely pass it when walking to and from these.
