The Sanur Beach Promenade is lined with brightly painted outrigger boats along the water's edge, and good restaurants and cafes opposite. Treat yourself to a massage offered by one of the many masseuses with divans on the sand. If you're there in July, catch the Bali Kite Festival, a colorful international competition.

Nice clean relaxing beach

It on the eastern side of Denpasar, well away from the tourist hotspots at Kuta. no surf unless you paddle out to the reef, but good swimming, water clear and clean.

I spent 4 days exploring Sanur and 2 would have been ample. Noisy and very touristy in the streets I headed to the beach to relax. At the beach everyone is trying to sell something and the prices are pretty high. The highlight for me was the free yoga class at 7.30 each morning at the South end. I bought... More

Prama Hotel in Sanur was perfect for our family holiday in Bali. The location was great as Sanur feels like a small and relaxed beach town (compared to Seminyak and Kuta which felt very busy when we visited). Sanur has good shops and nice restaurants while being fine as a base to explore Bali from. The hotel has lots of... More

Sanur Beach has coarse sand (small rocks by the sea) and steep floor. In a couple steps you have water at chest level. Not big waves (waves break far away at the reef), but some streams pull you arround. There is offerring of activities like sup, jetski and boat rides. Most hotels have services as bar, massage and toilets for... More

I really enjoyed Sanur because of The walking or bike path all along the 7k beach. Boutique hotels and restaurants to stop at after a swim in the shallow waters. Sunsets are stupendous and morning walks a great way to start your day.

The beach is very long, so different parts will vary. Good sand and fairly clear water. The beach is narrow in places and could be cleaner at times. A lot of plastic bags and the remains of offerings to the gods remain at the waters edge. There is a reef a long way offshore which keeps the water calm. However... More

Sanur Beach is one of the beaches you should visit when you're in Bali. If you're a scuba diver your boats probably take of from the Sanur beach. Also you can wave surfing at Sanur. One of the very beautiful sunset view you can enjoy at Bali.

Went to Sanur for a day. What a great beautiful beach so nice and clean with great places to swim and lots of place to sit around and relax. Nice restaurants on beach front to enjoy a meal and watch the ocean. 👍👍
