As we went through the arched gateway into the garden,we encountered three colorful Macaws and a black horn bill. The 2 Macaws perched on our arms for pictures , which was a nice surprise. The Blanco paintings are truly beautiful pieces. He captures the spirit...More

So many glowing reviews...did not get the same impression. Large European style building with a few Balinese elements to try to blend in. All Blanco's artworks and just a couple would have been fine... However, the grounds -and the birds- were quite nice

We were enthralled and blown away from the moment we entered through the stunning portico. The gardens are inspirational, the exotic friendly birds are extremely interactive and this alone is worth the price of admission. However, it only got better... the architecture was classically original...More

A bit like coming to Dali's museum in Figueres, only in Ubud. Nice paintings and all, but mostly about the ambiance at the property. An experience that should not take up more than half an hour of your time, yet providing for pretty good photo...More

Nope. Just bad. And to top it off, much of the art is prints, not originals. 🤦‍♀️ I wasn't even bothered by the lewdness. We thought it was quite classical to do nudes. And the bawdy frames were hilarious. I just expect a museum or...More

Just a fifteen minute walk from our Gerebig Bungalows accommodation is the incredible mansion containing the art collection of Don Antonio Blanco. The collection is mainly of semi naked women in Impressionist style, plus some other paintings of Michael Jackson, who actually visited the artist...More

Eccentric, some of the art is a bit challenging for some (pornographic by some standards), gardens are stunning, tropical birds to see - mostly free to fly about, and there is a good restaurant for a meal, snack or cold beer. A must-see stop.

A stop at this museum, is an enlightening one. May not be suitable for young children. It provides a prospective of one mans life and love.
