The rice plantation is beautiful to visit as it’s very green and for the photographers it gives lots of opportunity. Around the rice plantation there are many cafes and Bali swing. It’s lit of walking but worth a visit.

If you fit and able to walk for hours, then you should go this green view place. Nice photo shots you can take around but not advised to take the Bali swing there.

Very disappointing visit to this well known site. Purchased a ticket (cheap, 10,000) that was never requested. Views ruined by tourist attractions - swings, seats, etc. Not authentic. Better to stop at one of the numerous terraces along the road.

The area is beautiful but not untouched by tourist attractions offering swings, bicycles zip lines and hawkers trying to sell you trinkets. Therefore don’t expect a quiet serene area to observe the locals as they farm their acres of rice. We were disappointed to see...More

We’ve been on a month long tour of Asia and visiting Tegalalang Rice Terrace was one of the coolest things we did on our tour so far. This attraction involves walking down a steep set of stairs to a valley, then walking up narrow mud...More

Ubud was so busy we didn’t have time to stop. But this terrace was small and touristy. You had to give a donation to enter extra levels.

Я не помню, платили мы или нет на входе, так как приехали довольно рано, и после дождя. Но на тропе есть несколько точек, вроде мостиков, например, где местные занимаются вымогательством - очень настойчиво требуют donations... More

It's virtually free, about 10,000 rupiah if I recall, but as you climb you are required to make "mandatory donations"...
