Honestly, as stated in the title, which I will once again blame on rain season, the garden was not flourishing with gorgeous flowers. It was actually quite bare save for the trees and one particular green house with flowers. And the walking you have to...More

Lovely gardens, it was nice welcoming. There isn't much to see, we saw cactus farms and just wondered around. There are a few bali trees. Does look like a nice place to set up the picnic blanket but not friendly for bbq.

Having seen this garden recommended in the Rough Guide I was excited to visit this garden on my last day in Ubud. When I arrived I was only charged 20,000 RPH as the guide told me that the garden was not at its best (full...More

The clerk warned me that people complained because there were no flowers. I paid the 50,000rp, and went it. The problem isn't that the flowers are gone. The problem is that the "garden" looks like a vacant lot. Complete with trash and overgrown paths. The...More

A must see when in Ubud. The rice fields are beautiful but you haven't; seen enough green until you visit the Botanic Gardens. You will definitely feel 'one' with nature.

Nice park but could be so much more. Lots of nice plants. They also have flee market and food stands on the weekend. The original artwork and carvings are amazing. Worth a stop.

The park had loads of people doing outdoor courses of some sort, with loudhailers and awful loud music. There was virtually no info available, and only one restaurant open with horrible, loud karaoke on. None of the cafes were open. Some quite good, well-kept exotic...More

Having read a favourable mention of this place (now calling itself ANEH ANEH) in the latest Rough Guide to Bali I decided to visit this place, as I love the plants of the tropics. What a sorry disappointment. Shabby, overgrown and unkempt are just some...More

I am a total "plant freak," so i was in heaven at the Ubud Botanic Garden. The garden is definitely worth a visit if you are into tropical plants, its easy to spend 2-3 hours there. Bring water to drink & mosquito repellent.

Wandering around the Botanic Garden we saw some plants that we had not seen before. It is more of a natural garden as opposed to a manicured garden. There are statues and seats in poignant places to sit and daydream and I particularly liked the...More
