Overview
More
The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.

Our guide advised to start at the top end and walk down, EXCELLENT suggestion. Our walk started up by the rice terraces and we get to the Karsa Cafe soon after starting, but you need to stop there as it is wonderful rest spot. The...More

We are walkers, so we were a little disappointed the two hour walk we were promised only took an hour. That said, it is a lovely walk, with very rewarding scenes and view from the start, to the end in the rice fields. The walk...More

Fun walk, reasonably demanding, with painters and curios for sale towards the far end. Beware of the silversmith who attempted to sell us silver bracelets "his wife made" which one can buy at the market for half the price.

Gorgeous walk--if you're only going to do one walk from Ubud Center to see both jungle and rice paddies, make this the one. Walk 45 minutes and have lunch (or better yet make a spa reservation) at Karsa Spa.

It is a nice opportunity to spend a couple of hours away from busy Ubud center. If you want to complete the whole tour, be prepared to walk for about 8,5 km and half of these are on paved roads with traffic. If not, you...More

It's a beautiful and quiet walk. I went early (around 8 AM) and I really enjoyed it. You get to walk through tropical scenery and rice paddies. Get a smoothie at the cafe at the end! Great morning exercise.

I can't see any danger with it. There are plenty of runners up that early to avoid the morning heat anyway!

We stayed at the Lokha Spa, which is part way along, so we didn't survey the whole track. The towards-Ubud part is quite uneven but not too bad. A stroller with large wheels would be advisable, rather than a small-wheeled... More
