Wannen wisata sold us tickets for a fast boat costing us 1 million rupiah which was meant to take 1.5 hours to Gili islands but actually sold us tickets on a 9 hour trip which included a 1 hour transfer from ubud and then a 5 hour SLOW ferry to Lombok then another 2 hour drive to another port in... Booked this tour on arriving in Bali as opposed to getting a private driver, only to realise that the tour was private anyway, bargain! We had a guide and a driver, both were helpful and accommodating. We visited cloth making, silver making, painting, rice fields, monkey forest, coffee plantation, markets and wood carving. Great variety and gave us a good... More

We just got back from Bali, pretty annoyed with one part of our tour, with buffalo tours. We were taken to an art gallery, got ripped off big time. Got home and opened the tube with so called painting in it, which cost us $100 aus, was absolutely crap, looks like a piece of paper with a print on it,... More

We booked this tour in aus before going to bali, it seemed a bit pricey but we did anyway.we had a private tour, unfortunately the guides attitude seemed to be " just another job". Thought Ubud would be interesting but unfortunately it was as busy as Kuta. A meal was included in the tour and we were not given a menu... More

We booked an excursion to Ubud through our hotel, only to finf we were the only ones on the trip, which was great. We had an excellent English speaking guide and we fitted in quite a lot during the day. There was a visit to a woodcarving centre, an art centre, Ubud Art Gallery, a traditional Balinese house, a solver... More

Took a private taxi tour to the village of Ubud. It is a tour not to be missed. On the drive from Nusa Dua we saw hundreds of quaint temples along the way - a photographer's delight!! The village itself is fantastic. Saw the old Palace - luckily we were allowed into a restricted area so could photograph what tourists... More

We went with Buffalo Tours, very good with just my wife and I the tour guide and driver. Small luxury van. Excellent day. Give yourself time to explore not only the shops but the markets. Check your prices before you buy. Big differences from stall to stall. IE first stall wanted 450K for a shirt and got exactly the same... More

The name of the company implies a tour. What we got was a driver. At no time during the trip did the driver talk about any of the history of the area, history or significance of the temples/terraced rice fields, or anything else on the trip. Additionally, the indicated that all costs were included in the trip with the exception... More

Paddy fields, cool breeze and shopping at Ubud Art market. Could heard the roster sounds. It was a good experience. Kids get to see the culture and heritage that are different in our country.
