Gusti Nyoman Lempad was a sculptor and painter and designed many of the temples in Ubud. Interesting to wander around the courtyard of his house and see his workshop etc. although this not a museum to his work.

Only a few Lempad's artwork and paintings tugged away at one corner. The paintings were not hung up but just stacked together horizontally. Some of them were not even in good shape anymore. There was a lady (one of Lempad's granddaughter) looking after some paintings...More

By chance we came across Lempad home today. Beautiful gardens but was absolutely horrified by the tiny cages holding many birds including an eagle. What is going on?

Talked with Lempad's grandson and his wife. Walked thru the whole family compound and lookedt the various pieces of art.
