We actually had to pay money to get bananas, for monkeys to jump on my wife's back, to take some pics, BUT, I was a little bit scared of the monkeys so didn't do this... As we walked down to the depths of the monkey jungle, a small family of them came across, and one jumped on my shoulder, and... More

This is great if you have never seen monkeys up close. I found it kind of gross with hundreds of monkeys crapping everywhere and having monkey sex. Lots of tourists packed in as well.

3rd time in Bali and we come to spend an hour or two at the monkey forest every time. Cool under the tress. Lovely grounds. Monkeys everywhere. It would be madness not to go.

A great opportunity to meet with the Monkeys in a Jungle/ Forest setting but be aware the Monkeys will take anything from you, that's not securely fastened! Jewellery, Food etc. But well worth a visit for Adults and Children

This is a fun, inexpensive activity that is worth the trip. Even without the monkeys it's a beautiful property. My friend and I went and the monkeys are so cute and appear to be happy and not contained In any way. I paid one of the workers 20idr and he helped us feed a monkey while he sat in our... More

We visited the Sacred Monkey Forest after finding it high on the list of "Things to Do" in Ubud on TripAdvisor. It didn't disappoint at all. The entry fee was 40k IDR and there is a big information board of what to do and not to do inside the forest since it had large number of free monkeys. Once inside... More

I think kids would love here. The monkeys are so used to people that they sit around just looking at us and one ir there might try to steal your bag. The bridge crossing provides an amazing opportunity to reflect in the beauty and power of Mother Nature
