Loved this place. The best thing about it is that the monkeys can come and go as they please and aren’t forced to do anything they don’t wish to do. Must see in Ubud!

We went to the Monkey Forest Sanctuary because our friend really wanted to see monkeys. Sadly other friends didn’t come because they thought the entire place was just about tourists with monkeys. Couldn’t be more wrong. It’s like stepping into a jungle of your dreams...More

We have been coming to the monkey forest for years now. We were really impressed with the way the monkeys are managed and fed by the wild park rangers. I feel a lot safer now and can enjoy a peaceful stroll knowing that a monkey...More

Good combination of not-a-zoo and free roaming animals and so many that you're not going to walk through and not see a thing.

Monkey Forest is a must see in Bali. These Balinese long-tailed monkeys are cute and cheeky. If close enough they may jump on you and have a play and/or nibble. We can attest to that.... The park itself it quite picturesque and worth looking at...More

Lots of monkeys around. Some just sat in the middle of the path. In general, the monkeys are well behaved. There are plenty guides/guards around. The forest itself is nothing special other than for the monkeys.

Was interesting to see the different families of monkeys and it was a nice walk around. Staff were nice and helpful, unlike many other areas of Ubud. One guy helped me park my bike and even put a piece of wood on my seat to...More

There are many flat paths and trails and someramps next to stairs. That said, you won’t be able to see many parts of the Park. However, you could easily spend a very pleasant hour or two in the Park and see plenty of... More

I'm not too sure because it is a forest after all. There are a lot of stairs and bridges, and the terrain has ups and downs.
