u have to pay about 18,000 rp to enter the ciater hot spring. then u have to pay 20,000 - 40,000 rp depends on what type of swimming pool that u choose. i ate ice-cream and cost me 15,000 rp for the cheap ones. for me it just okay. will be extra crowded on weekend.

well, if you get boring with city viewing in bandung, or already spent money for buying clotes...
try to find CIATER, 32 km from bandung. if you came from Europe, you can feel the same atsmosfer in that village.
you can enjoy natural hot water, tea walk, or looking how the tea in that area in process.
enjoy for 2-3 days and you can back to hunting souvenir in bandung again...
ehm, i almost forgot... try stay in sari ater hotel.
have nice trip then...

The worst hot springs I’ve ever seen! People getting completely dressed into the water, with the same clothes they were wearing, so the water wasn’t very clean! You are going to be the main attraction and don’t even think about wearing a swimming suit!
The maintenance was far to be good!

We are very disappointed when we arrived at the rim of the crater. To our dismay, too many touts pushing their souvenirs at the tourists & blocking our view. Some even stalk u until u board your car. We understand they just want to make an honest living but it is indeed an eyesore

Think the place is more for locals than tourists. Went there thinking it was an attraction but the place looked pretty run down to me and I didn't quite know what to do there or where to place my stuff. I didn't even enter the hot water although I paid the entrance fee. But I did see kids enjoying themselves though. I left within 15 minutes.

I was so looking forward to Ciater Hot water springs. My idea was that it would be naturally water flowing into natural pond or lake.
And when we enter we see they had made a common swimming pool which was not that appealing to even go in.
Not well maintained too, left within five minutes of entering the complex.

My family ( 2 adults and a teenage daughter) visited the hot spring at about 10.00am on Thursday, 14/6/12 and the following is a summary of our visit :
a) The entrance was Rp18,000/pax. It was extremely crowded for a weekday.
b) We tried the feet hot spring located after the food stalls and found it refreshing. Unfortunately, the rubbish thrown around was not pleasant. The spring water was hot (the ice-cream man said that it is about 45C) at the centre and tasted sour. We soaked our feet for about 10 mins and wash our face with the spring water from the fountain.
c) We avoided buying anything from the ice-cream man because of poor review from previous visitors.
d) The place was well design. Unfortunately, the extremely large crowd and poor hygiene turned a "paradise" into a "horrible place". We walked around for 30 min. there and was happy to leave.

I always come here when i had friend from outside country. Usually they like it.. I always come here in the night when the weather so cold. Hot Spring make us relax... and it also good for your health. Somethink that i don't like it is when i go there in holiday. It will be very crowded and sometimes the pool is not clean... So, make sure you come there in late night.

This place needs much improvement. It is far from the center of Bandung and really not worth it. The only plus is that it is a hot spring but the place itself is old and outdated.
