This used to be the old Governors summer residence of Western-Java when the Dutch ruled most parts of Indonesia. Currently it is the weekend and vacation residence of the Indonesian President. You can only visit it with a special permit from the Indonesian Government.

The First Palace is in Jakarta and this is as a second Palace for President Indonesia to get away from the crowded of Big City Jakarta. Well maintained has a deer live on their park. And suss rounds by Botanical garden.

You can see it quite close inside Bogor Botanical Garden. Go look for Gift Shop inside the Bogor Botanical Garden, then you will see signpost for Bogor Palace. Just follow the path and you will get to see the palace in a good spot and...More

We, my family spent our times over weekend in the Botanical Garden, especially in the morning. We did jogging, cycling, and enjoyed food as well. The real fresh air you may enjoy. so you will feel really healthy and really fresh afterwards.
