This building was built around 1920 , art deco architectural style depicting the bridge of a ship with shrimp contained thereon. Located at Siliwangi St. which is the main street in the city of Cirebon . This building was used as the mayor's office until today . Cirebon is a unique experience. We stayed there with a good friend in January 2014 for 3 weeks. The way Indonesians drive over there is nothing short excellence in their own way. The town hall is on the main street through the middle of town near the train station - meaning you can miss it if you are walking by or are in a taxi/tuk tuk. Its probably not open to the general public though but you can take pictures of it from the front gates.

The building is well maintained and used as the official site of Cirebon's major. It is suggested to shoot pictures right in the front of the building at night or early in the morning.....but as far as I know, there is no significant tourism object here, once I asked permission to shoo pictures in the front yard, and that's all...
