Indeed many interesting airplane are preserved in the IAF museum but all are in bad physical shape and not well maintained, the feeling is that the museum is pretty abounded and forgotten. Only for real aviation fans that can spent half a day around out of service B707.

After watching the movie about the birth of the Israeli Air Force "above and beyond," this visit was so interesting. You can see it on utube. The museum is well done with many types of old planes and planes shot down in various wars. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. I was especially gratified to see a Jewish Air Force... More

We went to the Hatzerim Israel Airforce Museum on a day with no other visitors. This is more than great. We had a good guide and enough time to get the most out of this museum

Worth a visist if you've never been. It's more exciting for young children and aviation enthusiasts. Some of the planes must go through some maintenance

After visiting the RAF museum in the UK, I know what this one is missing - shade and A&C . But great exhibits nonetheless, also some special kids activities were on when we visited (Sukkot)

An amazing collection of military aircraft. The selection rivals some of the best in the world. But here it ends. The base is in the desert and there is no shade as you walk along the aprons. The aircraft are in such a poor state that it is almost criminal. To see aircraft that have served with such distinction in... More
