We just visited Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine. A question came up. Was the wine that Jesus made from water white wine or red wine? It's okay, but only for history buffs.

The true Cana from when Jesus turns water into wine is across the Beth Netopha Valley! I only walked through the city along the Jesus trail so I did not visit for very long

Conversion of water to wine is considered yhe first miracle by Jesus, the Christ. What is surprising is the commercialisation of this event by the traders around the Church. The item sold maximum is the Wedding Wine from Cana. I decided not to buy any....More

Just another small church built over ancient ruins. The entrance is on Church St, which is a pedestrian street for all practical purposes. When you find Church St., park as near to it as you can, and walk about 5 minutes to the church. The...More

Greetings Commuting between cities in Israel is hassle free. You should be able to make it if you have at least 4 hours for the 180km drive (one way). In other words, you need a whole day for the trip and the ceremony.
