We went there for 2 h. but it was not enough. There are several possibility: Walking route for a long and short distance, hiking and climbing mountains, view sites. you can choose your route. Next time we'll go back there for a long hiking. Families could enjoy as well. Terrific view of Kineret - Sea of Galilee. Strongly recommended. Best... More

A beautiful place with great views and a sad history. Great for hikes, too. Best time of the day for the panorama is in the afternoon, but be sure not to get there too late, as the government employees running the place go home early!

I consider myself fairly athletic and was excited to spend a scenic afternoon at Arbel taking in the beautiful vistas and enjoying the leisurely walking trails I was promised. My word, I have not been this scared in a long time. As we proceeded along the marked path, the trails became increasingly precipitous and challenging with little to anything preventing... More

We had less than two hours to walk the paths to the viewpoints, we would have liked to have done more. There's a lot of history here, and at the end of February 2017, tons of wildflowers too. Beautiful!!!

This is my husband's favorite site in all of Israel - and we go there 3 or 4 times a year. Magnificent view.

The walk up will only take about 10 mins from where the bus is parked. Came here in Jan and there are beautiful yellow and purple flowers! At the top of the Mt Arbel you can see the sea of Galilee. In the Bible, here is where Jesus went up to pray and saw the disciples in the boat caught... More

From here you can see just about the entire sea. The view is incredible. It's a short hike (about 1/4 mile) from the parking lot with a hill to walk up. If you bring kids you will need to keep them close as the drop off the cliff is severe. Amazing, amazing view!

If your can visit Arbel National Park in the Spring time and climb to the caves I give this park a 5. The views were amazing on a crystal clear day and the wild flowers were a splendid addition. The cave system/fortress was impressive. If it is a hazy day and you are not going to hike to the cave... More

We started our climb to Mt. Arbel at Wadi el Hamaam, a small village near the mountain. We left our car at the entrance to the village in a small parking lot and started the climb. Pleasant shady trail took us to the foot of the 400 m climb. After an hour of climbing we got to the Arbel caves.... More
