Tropical setting around large hot mineral water pools, some covered; large grounds, spa treatments, cafe, water park( in season), beneficial but check with your Physician first. Crocodile farm to visit ( no petting). Well worth a day`s stay.

It could be the most beautiful place on earth, but....smoking everywhere although the signs. The sunshade are not enough to the amount of people on site. The restaurants are cheep and not healthy at all. No wonder the crowd is low budget people.

With the added bonus of being on the Jordan border and an exciting drive down and back, Hamat Gader is a place to relax in the hot springs, especially when you have walked as much as we did in Israel. I have to say, I probably wouldn't have like it in high season, but in early December, I got the... More

To make the best of your time there whether winter or summer is to spend the day but bring your own food as it is pricey. Check ahead of time for hours as some days close earlier for religious groups. The pool under the tarp is a lot warmer if one is unable to handle the extreme heat in the... More

The place is relatively well maintained, with a variety of attractions (crocodile pond, petting zoo, parrot show, hot springs), but we couldn't find anything to eat and had to leave the park hungry in search for a restaurant. The only restaurant on the premises wouldn't take us without a reservation, despite being half-empty, the menu was extremely poor and bizarrely,... More
