If you like botanics, that's the place to go when at the Seychelles. A lovely place, plenty of trees and plants, good explanations...it deserves 2 hours of your time. The restaurant is a little bit costly but food is excellent. Long pants after the rain are necessary: mousquitos

My daughter of 4 years old visited this garden and came home totally excited and was talking about meeting a parrot Laura. I made it a must to visit with some tourists and my daughter was showing them around. I must say it is an amazing peace of paradise well kept by the Georges family. They do their best to... More

Way up in the mountains, is a delightful way to discover all the native plant life and trees and herbs and spices. There's an entrance fee of £125 ScR per, but that's OK, a cute little shop and a less cute restaurant, good food, but could do with a spit shine.

Very interesting. Felt a little bit run down but very charming. Beautiful views from the cafe. Bring a decent pair of shoes because some of the paths are quite steep.

Le Jardin Du Roi is rather difficult to find as it is badly signposted. The steep and narrow single track road up the hill (with only a few passing places) is a bit daunting. It took substantial driving skills. The gardens are very beautiful, a very peaceful and restful location. We explored the grounds for about 2-3 hours on different... More

It took us a while to get there since we took public transportation, which is an experience by itself. We walked up the hill which was tough (easier if you rent a car).. the place is worth the visit though. There's a lot of history and the lady who owns the plans has turned part of her home into a... I spent a few hours with my family having a really good lunch at the restaurant followed by a walk around the spice gardens which was a surprising treat which we all loved ( 8 year old in tow). A little trouble finding the right turning for the gardens but glad we did and would highly recommend a visit. The... More

We were taken to this restaurant by my in laws who are currently working in the Seychelles. It is up quite a precarious hill (first gear only!) but well worth the drive. The views are stunning and the breeze wonderful. We ate at the restaurant and had delicious home made Creole food - try the Job fish in ginger sauce... More

A hidden treasure of The Seychelles (if you pass the graveyard, you are on the right road). Stunning views, vast array of flora & fauna, and, at 125 Ruppees, it was amazing value for money. Would recommend to anyone, just don't forget your camera.
