2 km stretch of white, floury sand, no crowds, no vendors, no nothing... What else would one need to enjoy life? PROS: - long beach with shallow water, very safe for kids to swin; - clean, no debris NOR WEEDS (except for furthest east end, winding up to a small bay); - a number of restaurants nearby. CONS: - sandflies... More

Anse Volbert is part of the Cote D'or, with other anses forming the whole beach. It is a long beach, 2-3 km, fantastic to walk in the morning and the evening.

It was a bright sunny afternoon and the beach was shining with vibrant gren color of the sea. Looks like I was in Paradise! With palm trees curving out and motor boats with colorful Seychelles Flag created such a vibrancy that I would love to go back again and again. There are a few shops from where nice souvenirs could... More

One of the biggest beaches in Praslin but not too touristy as the part which has sunbeds is less crowded. Amazing scenery. A couple of bars/restos also for drinks and lunches.

We visited Anse Volbert in the evening before sunset and the water was shallow for swimming. One side had seaweed, but we walked towards the side that did not have seaweeds. Not one of the best beaches in Praslin, but one of the best for swimming. Rest of the beaches had strong waves which made it difficult to get in.... More

we spent 9 days on the beach: water is clear, sand is magnificent and no seaweed with low tide. The only matter was repereseted by sendflies, a lot in the last three days that bitted us to death: itchy bites we still complain about. Sandflies are present the whole day, not only at sunset, there is nothing you can do... More

I went to all the beaches on the island. This one is the best. May not have the best photo ops for rocks etc. but is about 2km long and beaufiul. Can't beat that.

Anse Volbert is a wonderful beach, with an amazing colour and waves. It is safe for swimming and relaxation but not for snorkelling. Actually we've met some stingrays... The beach is affected by seaweed during December..
