Anse Volbert is on the north of Praslin, it's a quite long stretch. As we were accommodated near by we used it for morning walks and swim and during the day visited other more beautiful ones.
The beach is affected with low/high tides.
Nice long sandy beach but definatelly not the best on Praslin. Maybe I have a problem since I don't like sand in my swimming costume and I like to swim on thw seaside which is hard here due to the shallow water. But kids loved...More
That is a good located beach to take excursions to other island - like Curiose, St. Pierre, Ave Maria and others of marine national park. The beach itself always has a low tide ocean, cloudy water (not clear), algae, but no waves.
I enjoyed this part of praslin and could recognize the white beach. During the snorkling we could see some worms, ray and small fishes in 50m distance to the beach. There are 3 diving center not so far away.
After going to Seychelles I realised that Anse Volbert and Cote D'Or beach are one and the same. My review also is therefore more or less the same.
