We took a day trip to the island combined with snorkeling at St. Pierre. The tortoises are totally tame and perhaps even "too" used to the tourists. No signs of stress were observed, but once wonders if this is really what a wild animal wants/needs....More

Really nice beaches (2 that you visit) with a great 2km walk in between with mangroves and nice views. The turtles are the best attraction. They are everywhere, very docile and the kids go nuts to be able to interact with them BBQ is simple...More

Amazing place with gigantic turtles roaming freely. I do recommend to book a tour to come here, but save yourself the BBQ. It tastes better than it looks but still, it isn’t a culinary or otherwise pleasant experience (grilled fish, grilled chicken, cabbage salat, smoked...More

We took a day trip excursion and it was a good day out. A must visit if you like turtles as much as we do. The best part is that they are free and not afraid of us coming close to them, what a wonderful...More

We booked a private tour to Curieuse via Angel Tours. While we had experience the Giant Aldabra tortoises elsewhere on Seychelles (Botanical Garden Mahe, Anse Lazio beach) but there was nothing as exciting as seeing tens of tortoises roaming free in their natural habitat. It...More

Hi. There is a tourist information office on Praslin. I’m sure you could sort it once you are there.

We went with a rubber boat to the island, therefore we landed just at the beginning of the sand. A bit of wet feet. Not really difficult other than to jump out of the rubber boat with the help of the other people.
