The northern Cote d'Or is probably the best place to stay on Praslin. It has a very long beach and is most developed in terms of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Also, there are many tours offered and departing right from here.

A lot of the beaches around Praslin are beautiful, but I was surprised seeing the number of reviews. This place is pretty but I liked Anse Lazio a lot more.

We stayed at the Acajou hotel on this beach and it almost seemed like we owned the beach for most of our stay. Beautiful walks to the local village of Anse Volbert

This stretch of beach is very nice. There are also boutiques and markets to go shopping. There is a nice area for snorkeling too.

Perfect beach and still not overcrowded. Unfortunately no nightlife at all here, but nature pure can be nice as well
