Ok not only to they book great prog acts like Steve Hackett and Carl Palmer but it's the seating and convinence. I drive 100 miles each way from central ny. $5 parking right under the egg and so easy access from thruway. It took a full minute at end of show down elevator and in the car not a typo.... More

The acoustics are incredible and there were two separate artists playing shows that night on different levels of the egg which does not look large enough from the outside. Obviously its an extra large egg!

Diverse programming. Size creates intimacy with performers. Family friendly. Easy garage parking underneath. Iconic architecture. Comfortable seating--I am 6'4".Very first pricing. Staff and volunteer are top notch. The Egg is connected to the new Convention Center, Renaissance Hotel, Times Union Center, and Empire State Plaza/Capitol.

intimate setting, courteous and polite volunteers and great acoustics. I use a walker and getting from the V parking lot to the theater is a hike and and then some. enjoyed the concert but would never recommend the egg as a place for someone with challenged mobility. too bad, since they feature great entertainers.

We attended a concert here and the Egg provided an intimate concert experience. Parking was easy at the Empire State Plaza for $5. I would definitely attend another concert here.

Albany lacks a lot of things, namely fun or exciting things to do and see. The Egg is easily the most unique thing in Albany, and while it's good for a few photos, that's all we got out of it. It's certainly an odd structure. it's located next to the convention hall. Sadly, one of the more exciting things to... More

Architecturally, this is a strange building but it adds a bit of charm to Albany's skyline. (I like to tell people who just moved to the area that it's our UFO building. :]) Inside, it's great for events. We saw a comedian once there and it seemed like despite being father back, we had fantastic views and the sound was... More

I had been waiting for a weekend show that we would both enjoy for 2 years! I was excited to visit this venue and didn't realize there were 2 stages inside. We were in the smaller area which made it a much more personal experience, almost inter-active with the performers. Only water was allowed in the theater and the sales... More
