By all means go to this lovely museum! My only complaint is that the 2 hours we had was not long enough. We will definitely return.

Came here today with a senior citizen and for boys under the age of nine. We had a great time, it was plenty to see on the first floor including a 911 experience and exhibit, boots, Mammoth and mastodons, and lots of other interesting things....More

We did not stay in the downtown area due to cost, but we did arrive downtown early in the day and easily parked at the New York State Museum visitor parking ($10 for the day). The parking lot did fill by mid/late morning... More
