OK, not really in the city, but really close, considering all the trails. Great educational opportunities for the whole family.

This is a very nice place to walk, lots of trails and a very nice discovery center. They also have the nicest park bathrooms I have been in.

Bring your camera to photograph, in all four seasons, this beautiful nature preserve (on the far western edge of Albany). My wife is an artist and often gathers inspiration for landscapes from photos she took here.

This was a very well done Discovery center at the Pine Bush Preserve. Many interesting nature exhibits, several interactive. The kids enjoyed it. It is small and you can see it in a relatively short time. Even though it was cold, we enjoyed some of...More

I go on runs here. It's never too crowded, but you'll usually run into at least a couple of groups. It's pretty close to the road at some points, but its still a really nice way to feel like you're getting out of a city.

Took 84 kids to this venue. Staff super knowledgeable. Super friendly. They took a lot of time with the children making sure they were understanding of each child and question. Also highly recommended for adults. Clean and well maintained
