You must be invited enter. Antiques and Tiffany lamps inside.next door to the Roman Catholic .Located in a less affluent section of the city. Again, you won't be able to enter without an invite. There are no special tours that I amaware of.More

We only viewed the outside. They have guided tours but require reservations a week or two in advance. Maybe next wime I'm in Albany.

Mansion built in 1856, bought by Governor Samuel TIlden (born in my home town!) in 1875 and the official governor's residence ever since. Beautiful Renaissance revival furniture & the artifacts of over 30 governors, several presidents. Worth the tour.
