The location on Central might surprise some but that was an Italian enclave of employees at the huge, old New York Central Shops for maintenance of trains and steam engines. This was a by-gone era but the museum is faithful and excellent.More

This is an interesting place to visit and absorb some of the immigrant experience. It is housed in a residential neighborhood just off a main highway. The museum hosts special events and publishes a newsletter with volunteer help.
