    Pleasant Afternoon Stroll
We were passing so called in late afternoon so the crowds had been and gone. The mornings early rainfall meant that all of the three waterfalls were gushing and made a great sight. The bridge across the gorge certainly tries out your calf muscles. Go if you are in the area.

    Nice falls, worth a visit
If you have seen falls in Iceland or e.g. US this won't knock you out, but still they are a nice visit. Entrance fee is KRW 2.000. From the parking it is a 250m walk along a very clean (not even a cigarette bud) and nice path to the falls. It can get quite crowded.

Loves the shaded greenery approach more than the waterfall
We visited the famous Cheonjiyeon Waterfall (which means the pond where heaven and earth meet, according to the travel brochure) on a Sunday afternoon. It was thankfully not as crowded as I feared. The waterfall itself, which is 22m high, was not as impressive as I had expected but I love the approach ie the walk from the entrance to the waterfall. We passed through a passage of shaded green (a very well landscaped forest) which shielded us from the sun. While Cheonjiyeon is not a very big place, it does offer many pretty photo spots. There is a bus stop outside and this is a major tourist attraction in Jeju. It is easily accessible by bus.

Entrance fee applies and a rather short walk to the waterfall. Lots of photo and video opportunity. Do not be shy to request others to help you take a picture if you are travelling solo.

Nice waterfall, better to see after rain or the first waterfall will be dry. Not suitable for elderly or those who are unfit. Lots of stair climbing. But worth the effort if, one of the top 3 of Jeju.

Visited at night after a day of rain, not as good as I expected.
Didn’t see the eels.
May consider day trip in future when I next visit Jeju

This waterfall is located within a large park which is a very pleasant place to have a leisurely stroll and taking in the beautiful sights before you reach the waterfall.

Heaps of free car parking

Quite a few little stores selling trinkets and food and drinks you do need to pay to get into this waterfall the walk to the waterfall is nice and easy there are no steps there are steps right at the end if you want to get closer to the waterfall there are also a few free public toilets

The falls is obviously a big thing for Jeju, and the infrastructure setup is very good. At only 22 m high, it would take lots of rain to move this from average to spectacular. By all means with the right advice from tge tourist service at the falls- public transport to and from was easy. If your in the area give it a visit.
