For all history lovers, it is a must see castle. There is so much history there like you wouldn't believe. I recommend booking a tour with the local guide there, it's about 10$ and it's totally worth it.

The best preserved medieval castle in the world. Period. Try to spot nearby castles Tartous/Marqab) for example) from the towers, it's possible in clear weather. You'll need some transportation to get there.
