Nice walk destination

This was a nice walk destination from the Ambassador Hotel. An evening hangout for local teens practicing their break dancing and coordinated dance moves.

This gate is the last major piece of HsinChu City's past. It is well maintained, and easy to get too. Be careful with traffic since this sits in the center of downtown. Enjoy, ExploreTraveler

It looks nice and photogenic. I'd stop here for 5 minutes on the way to the train station but that's about it. It's not like there's anything else to do at this gate.

Hsinchu's East Gate is a central and pivotal fixture in Hsinchu City. What was once the entrance to the walled city, is now a historic site and community square fit for dancers, performers, and sight seers. Be dazzled by the moves of the dancing subculture groups of Taiwanese students performing their break dancing and hip hop moves. Don't be alarmed... More
