Went there on 09 Dec 2016. It took more than 1 hour drive from Hualien City central. Gone there thinking the kids can get a chance to experience milking cows. Only 2 osterich and a few cows. Very small farm with a small cafe. Nearby not much attractions.

Nice place to chillout and enjoy some fresh air when in Hualien, we did it as part of our tour. However, do note that the mossies are nasty in November, so go armed with insect repellent. We loved the milk coffee, fresh milk and cheesecake! The milk buns were nothing to shout about though. You can feed the cows there... More

You will be disappointed if you are expecting big farm with animals running around. In order to manage the hygiene levels of their dairy products, the cows are kept separately. Tried the dairy products, the milk, ice cream & the mantou (bun) are amazingly good! Also bought soap made from milk for facial cleansing.

it was a waste of time to cycle out to this farm from the train station. There were a few cows here and there; plus, and ostrich. The cafe happened to be close - so, no ice-cream, milk or refreshments to be had. I found the other farm call JJ Farm ( sorry, can't read Chinese) has better facilities for... More

Fresh air, close to the nature, and play with animals, it's hard to say no to Ruisui Farm in Hualien.

Very nice ice milk tea, cheese cake, milk pudding and mantou. If you are coming down from hualien or taipei, suggest that u stay overnight in ruisui because it is not worth travelling 3 hours just for this.

Not particular interested in animals so wouldn't have bothered if not because we had a driver and it was near our accomodation in ruisui. We were the first visitors. Had a filling breakfast set at NTD135 which included really very fresh smelling and rich tasting milk, fried bun, steam bun, mini cheesecake and pudding. Everything tasted good. Bought additional coffee... More

The farm has nothing but a few cows and 2 ostriches. All you can have there are dairy products which I believe you don't have to travel all the way there to get them. Rui Sui has extremely limited food options as well and would not recommend anyone to come. The pictures found here are misleading as there is no... More

Unless you do some research, you will not know that this place exists! The more popular Chao Feng farm is more accessible and has plenty of tourists too. This place is very quiet and has mainly Taiwanese visitors. Plus a small tour group of pleasant Hong Kong families when we were there. We enjoyed this place as it has feed... More
