Not a bad shrine, but not a lot to do here. However, my friends and I met here and walked to the Paochueh Temple and then looped back to the Yizhong Night Market to make a complete trip.

It is a new temple but looks old and is architecturally beautiful. I ended spending hours marveling at each carving. You can take a bus or walk down from the Railway station. But do visit this temple if you are in Taichung. And on week...More

The beautiful temple behind the walls is really a surprising number of buildings put together in a peaceful garden setting. What a nice break in the middle of the action in North District.

Had a walk there in the morning before leaving Taichung. It is not far from Taichung Park and it has a beautiful garden and bridge that lead to the temple. It honours Confucius so it doesn't have a lot of people and incense smoke etc....More
