I came here with my best friends last summer vacation, we all love arts, therefore we decided to look around this art museum. Luckily, there was a exhibition of well-known arts and that is Ukiyo-e. We had a great time here and satisfied with the beauty of structures(buildings, gardens, etc.)

This place is quite interesting, filled with modern art and structure which may be more suitable for teens and adults. Roughly spend 1.5 hours looking through the exhibitions and visiting its souvenir shop. If you are looking to find an artistic place, this would be a recommendation.

Spent 1.5hrs slowly browsing the 2 floors of exhibits here. Huge building, lots of space, could have comfortably filled the space with a lot more exhibits. Nice air conditioned place to visit if you have spare time or just want to take it easy. I liked the more obvious art pieces the best, some with a bit of a twist,... More

Location: On the same street there are a ton of food options. In particular mix of French, Italian, and American food. Service: Super friendly staff, that helped despite having limited English. Exhibits: Not an artistic bone in me, but installations were thought provoking. You can ask for an Audio Guide device, free for the borrowing at the service desk. Best... More

During our Nov 2016 visit , the museum got an exhibition of works from contemporary Taiwan artist. Pretty interesting especially when trying to find the link between title and displayed work

Great place to visit, i enjoyed my time there and saw some interesting art. Nice place to visit while you are in Taichung. Mostly modern art and lots of sculpture to see so if you like modern art it is a great place to visit and look at the art. Nice and quiet and a good place to see.

I like the museum. It is quiet and has nice pieces. But, I am an old guy who prefers the classics so I did not stay for long.

I visited the museum with my friends. It has two (or three? Not remember exactly) floors full of interesting and creative things. There're also many seats for you to take a rest while looking. The scenery outside is also beautiful, it's an ideal place worth spending time walking around.
